This is fucking shit I’m an eighth grader and they still make us do this fucking shit because I’m in this class that makes us do it we only did this in 2020 during online school, And it’s graded Hopefully in high school they don’t make us do this crap it says that shitty “oops try again” thing I have to go home and search up answers and it’s gotten to the point where I have to use AI a lot of the time it doesn’t work and I have a breakdown and start crying our teacher makes us do five lessons a week. I hope dreambox goes bankrupt.

Dreambox is the most irritating, suffocating, and mind-killing software ever. As a parent who cares deeply about my children's math education, this is the biggest obstacle to my children's math learning. I am seriously considering asking my child to forego all his homework grades by skipping the dreambox assignments. The software is extremely slow with excessive animation that one cannot skip over, even if you already know the math completely. The control is un-intuitive and the steps required are obnoxious. It teaches absolutely nothing and is a complete waste of time. It takes my child hours to do something that, had it been assigned as a worksheet, minutes to finish. In the mean time, all his enthusiasm about math is completely drained. Anyone that makes children do dreambox lessons has completely lost their minds. I wish I could one day go to the school board meetings and make each of the school board members do 10 dreambox lessons and see if they still continue to allow this trash to pollute our education system.
